ChangeX
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I got the opportunity to work with a Dublin-based nonprofit called ChangeX. I initially joined the team as Impact Intern, eventually gaining the title of Design & Communications team member while helping out the Impact team with their starters and managing social media accounts.
I created graphics and copy for social media, newsletters, fund launches, and impact reports as time went on. I also helped out with starter support inquiries and had the chance to interview a starter located in Virginia. In addition, I helped create press releases and sent press and social media guides to starters—encouraging them to reach out to their local press and community.
While I had only been at ChangeX for a year, I’ve had the lovely opportunity to talk to people worldwide, work with a great team, and be in contact with fantastic social innovators and corporate partners.
The Corporate Record
The client wanted to create a website to publish articles based on different incidents in Corporate America during the 2020 BLM protests. After noticing employees and big corporations speak up for diversity and inclusion, he wanted to recognize the issues that still plague the workforce. This project is ongoing and focuses on page layout, hierarchy, photographic elements, copywriting, and flow using a CMS, which is WordPress.
D. Foster Marketing
I had the opportunity to work with D. Foster Marketing on several projects for their clients. These assets included a brand mood board, presentation slides, and monthly email ad graphics and signatures. These projects were completed between August and October 2020 and focused on color, layout, and hierarchy.
WISER

This website project was in collaboration with the Women’s Institution of Science, Equity, and Race (WISER). The founder was looking for a new feel to her website but still wanting to keep the same page format. Other work was completed, including the newsletter header design. The project was completed in 2020. This project focuses on page layout, hierarchy, color, photographic elements, and flow using the WordPress platform.
HMP Therapy
This website project was in collaboration with Hope Michelle Passmore, a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, working toward completing her doctorate. She’s currently licensed to practice in Texas and wanted to allow young women to access her services. The project was completed in 2020. This project focuses on page layout, hierarchy, color, photographic elements, and flow using the Squarespace platform.
Using Squarespace lessened the workload for the project. The client would manage the site, and the main goal was for her to use it quickly. The client wanted to have a website that reflected her passion for helping young women in times of need.
Scoubershare
The client was working with another designer to produce design mockups for their website. I was responsible for implementing the design onto their Wix site. After following their plans, I realized I had to make slight adjustments for them to work. This project was completed in June 2020 and focused on color, layout, hierarchy, and typography.
Resume Designs
During the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of people had lost their jobs and were trying to find help. Realizing that I had some experience reviewing resumes, I offered to look over and redesign my peers’ resumes in hopes of them finding new employment opportunities. By providing this service, it resulted in a promotion for one of my peers.
College Life Today
I worked on numerous digital assets for College Life Today, including social media graphics, ads, and copy for their Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts. These assets were completed between April and May 2020 and focused on color, typography, layout, and hierarchy.
